Hello Friends!

It has been quite a while since you have gotten an update on what is happening with Next 2 Nothing and we thought it might be time to do just that!

There are a few things we want to share with you.  Some exciting and new things are happening right now in the life of the band.  Many of you have been asking questions and have heard rumors about these things, so we thought we should just inform all of you about what exactly is happening.

Many of you have heard that Brodie and his family have recently relocated to Franklin, Tennessee due to Brodie’s work.  This past Friday was the day they packed up and headed south.  A day full of emotions for them, however we believe that it was the right move for their family allowing Brodie to be home more often with them.

Now, the obvious question this raises is… “What does that mean for Brodie’s involvement with N2N?”  The answer is… NOTHING!  Brodie will continue to be just as involved in the band as he has ever been.  He plans on traveling back and forth for upcoming shows and important rehearsals.  One of the things we are hoping is that he will have new opportunities and form new connections that could enhance the ministry reach of N2N.  We are excited about the new possibilities.  Yes, we will certainly have to be more intentional about how we rehearse without him and be a little more cautious of our scheduling, however, Brodie’s involvement will continue to stay the same in spite the fact that he is now 11 hours away!

The next thing some of you may have heard is that another change is coming to faces of N2N.  Our dear friend Scott Eckenrode has come to a place where he feels it is time for him to step away as the bassist and focus on some other things in his life.  He has a strong desire to have more time to invest in his family and his business.  You will soon be seeing a note from Scott in his own words concerning this.  Please know that there is nothing negative that is affecting his departure, it is simply a time for him to refocus his energy and time.

So… we are currently in transition with a new bass player.  We are working with a few guys who have agreed to step in and see how things feel and fit until we are able to connect with that right person who will become a full time member of N2N.  We will be sure to keep you updated on how this develops.

We hope this clarifies any of the things you may have heard along the way.  Please be confident that the music and ministry of Next 2 Nothing will continue to move forward.  In fact, we are beginning to plan for a trip to Nashville in the fall to begin the writing process  for a new album.  We are excited about what God is doing and continue to believe that Next 2 Nothing has many more years of life ahead!

Thank you for continued prayer and support.  We love you guys!
